4x + 6 - 2x = 2(x + 3)

Simplify.  :)

4x + 6 - 2x = 2x + 6

Add all the like terms;

2x + 6 = 2x + 6

Subtract 6 from both sides.

2x + 6 - 6 = 2x + 6 - 6

Simplify;

2x = 2x

Subtract 2x from both sides.

2x - 2x = 2x - 2x

Simplify.

0 = 0

Therefore, there are infinite solutions.
