Actually, Chrolophyll traps the solar energy which is used for manufacturing the food. They are the sites of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process of synthesising food or sugar from Carbon dioxide and water in the presence of Light.   Reaction:-   CO2+H2O-> Glucose+Oxygen.   Chlorophyll is the green coloured pigment in leaves. This is also called Chloroplasts.  Chloroplasts is a green color plastids found in Leaves. During Photosynthesis 'Granum' is the site of light reaction while 'Stroma' is the site of dark reaction. Chloroplasts is a semi-autonomous cell organelle. They have their own DNA and protein.   Be Brainly
