Solution:

To Find:

Length of the side of the square if area is 1024 c.m. sq.

REQUIRED ANSWER:

We know,

Area of square : side x side

So here,

Area of the square given : 1024 c.m. sq

Let the side of the square be: x c.m.

According to the Question:

x sq. = 1024

=> x = 1024

[In the above step, radical sign is changed into the right hand side]

=> x = 32

[In the above step, square root given.]

Therefore, length of the side of the square is 32 c.m.
