Abbe lemaitre proposed this theory in 1931 . According to this theory about 20 billions year ago cosmic matter was in condensed form . A fiery explosion took place which broke the condensed matter and scattered it's fragments into space at enormous velocity making a big bang sound and theory came to be known s big bang theory
