If you bring a burning match near the sight of photosynthesis then it will burn more brightly and violently as it has the access to more oxygen which is being produced.

Procedure to observe oxygen produced during photosynthesis

In order to witness the presence of oxygen that is produced during photosynthesis, an experiment was conducted. In this experiment, a hydrilla plant is twigged in a small funnel which is kept inside a beaker containing water. A test tube is then inverted over the bottom end of the funnel. When this apparatus is kept under sunlight for about 2-3 hours, we can observe oxygen in the form of gas bubbles at the end of the test tube.

The test tube is then removed gently and an incense stick is brought into contact with the gas bubbles. We can witness that the incense stick starts to flicker, which proved the presence of oxygen.
