Difference between Wheat and Rice farming are as follows :

1. Rice is a Kharif crop whereas Wheat is a Rabi crop.

2. Rice is grown in Tropical zone whereas Wheat is grown in Temperate zone.

3. Rice requires the temperature of 25 degree C whereas Wheat requires only 10 - 15 degree C.

4. Rice requires fertile alluvial soil whereas Wheat requires well - drained fertile soil.

5. Rice do not require much of labor work whereas Wheat requires cheap labor for transportation.

6. Rice is grown in areas such as West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Punjab, etc.. while Wheat is grown in areas such as Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, etc....
