The diameter (D) being 49 cm, the circumference is (pi)*D = (22/7)*49 = 154 cm. Hence in 100 revolutions of the wheel the distance covered is 154*100 cm = 15.4 km.

Answer:

Diameter =28 cm.

radius =

28

=14 cm

circumference = 1 revolution

∴ circumference = 2πr

=2.

.14

=88 cm

The distance will cover in 100 revolutions = 100×88

=8800 cm =88 m.
