When 0.7 L of Hydrogen at 0.8 bar and 1.5 L of Oxygen at 0.6 bar are introduced in a 1 L vessel at

25°C, the total pressure of the gas mixture is.....??

Heya.....!!!!

As we know that ,, Total pressure of the gas mixture = P1V1 + P2V2 ÷ V

=> P1 = 0.7
=> V1 = 0.8

=> P2 = 1.5
=> V2 = 0.6

Then Total pressure = P1V1 + P2V2/V
Here , V = 1

Putting the values We get

➡ ( 0.7×0.8 ) + ( 1.5×0.6 ) ÷ 1

Final answer ➡➡ 1.46 bar
Total pressure => 1.46 bar .
