Let the number be x
So, by problem:
(5x -1) ÷ (3+2x) = 4/5
5x -1 = 4/5×(3+2x)
5x -1 = (12+8x) ÷5
5 (x-1) = 12+8x
25x -8x = 12+5
17x=17
x=17/17
x=1
So, by problem:
(5x -1) ÷ (3+2x) = 4/5
5x -1 = 4/5×(3+2x)
5x -1 = (12+8x) ÷5
5 (x-1) = 12+8x
25x -8x = 12+5
17x=17
x=17/17
x=1
