When 1 mole of benzene is mixed with 1 mole of toluene (vapour pressure of benzene – 12.8 kPa, Toluene = 3.85 kPa) Pls explain your answer.

Option C. The vapour will contain a higher percentage of benzene.

Explanation :-

Using the formula - P = P°AXA + P°BXB

We conclude that vapour pressure of benzene is higher. Hence it is clear that the vapour contains higher amount of Benzene than Toluene.
