When 1 mole of CrCl₃ . 6H₂O is treated with excess of AgNO₃, 3 moles of AgCl are obtained. The formula of the complex is

d is the correct answer...

if 3 moles of AgCl are precipitated... then 3 moles of chlorine would lie outside complex as the atoms inside complex (square brackets) cant be ionised and hence wouls not precipitate AGNO3.....

in option d 3Cl are outside complex... and acting as counter ion...
