The charge on an electron is a constant I. e. -1.6*10^-19C if we remove an electron from a substance and we remove a charge of -1.6*10^-19C.
Therefore by quantization of charge, the next 4th charge gained on the substance is equal to +1.6*10^-19C.
So if we remove 10^19 electrons, the net charge on the substance is q=ne
=>q=10^19*1.6*10^-19C =>q=1.6C.
Therefore answer will be (b) 1.6C.
