When 12v battery is connected across an unknown resistor. There is a current of 2.5ma in a circuit. Find the values of the resistance of resistor?

Accoding to ohms law

I=V/R

=> R=V/I•••••••••••••••(eq1)

Where V=>voltage in volt

I=>current in ampere

R=>resistance in ohm

Given V=12v

I=2.5mA=2.5/1000A

By putting V & I in eq1 we get

R=12000/2.5=4800 ohm
