When 150 g of a saturated solution is evaporated at 80°C, 50 g of solid is left over. Find
the solubility of the substance at 80 °​

Answer:Here, at 50 °C, the solid solute obtained is = 50 gm

Since, we had the saturated solution = 100 gm

It means there must be  50 gm of water in the saturated solution

Hence, solubility of solute = (weight of solute in saturated solution/ weight of solvent in saturated solution ) x 100

So, at 50°C before the evaporation,

solubility = (50/50 ) x 100 = 100
