32 gm or 32 kg of sulphur reacts with 32 gm or 32 kg of oxygen gas.

Thus, 10 kg of sulhur reacts with 10 kg of oxygen gas.

2S + 3O

2

→ 2SO

64 gm or 64 kg of sulphur reacts with 96 gm or 96 kg of oxygen gas

Thus, 10 kg of sulphur reacts with 15 kg of oxygen.

∴ Weight of oxygen required are 10 Kg and 15 Kg respectively.

The ration will be 10 : 15 or 2:3.
