When 4.0 moles of oxygen are confined in a 12 liter vessel at 177 C the pressure is 6.0 atm. If the oxygen is allowed to expand isothermally until is occupied 24 liters , what will be the new pressure ?

expanding in isothermal behavior means there is no loss in temperature.......
now simply using,PV=NRT
P×12=4×R×(273+177)
3P=450R
P=150R=150×8.314=1247.1
now, when volume become 24litre then pressure
P×24=4×R×450
P=450R/6
P=75×8.314=623.55
hence the pressure is decreases to 623.55
