When 50 grams of sugar is dissolved in hundred ml of water there is no increasing volume .give reason.

Because in the water particles there is space between them and the particles of sugar can fill the whole space

no ...there is not an increase in volume but the density increases ..
as the molecules of sugar fill the interparticle spaces between the water ....which was previously somewhat vacant....
