When 8 gram of oxygen compressed adiabatically, its temperature rises by 160°C. What will be the change in the internal energy of the gas.​

n is no. of moles

f is degree of freedom

so

n= 8/32 = 0.25

degree of freedom for diatomic gas is 5

thus internal energy is 0.25 ×5 ×8.314×160/2

=8.314×100

=831.4 Joules
