When 80 gm of Ca is allowed to react with 100 gm of oxygen? Whabamount of CaO will be formed?
Also find amount of reactant left unreacted.​

Balanced reaction is

2Ca + O2 ---->. 2CaO

2mol. 1mol. 2mol.

So 2 mol Ca reacted with 1 mol O2 and 2 mol CaO formed or 2(40+16)=112gm

and

5.5 mol oxygen left or 16×5.25=84gm
