CH4 + 2 O2 --> CO2 + 2H2O

One equivalent of methane produces one equivalent of CO2, 2 equivalents of O2 produces 1 equivalent of CO2. 80 mL of methane can produce 80 mL of CO2, while 320 mL can produce 160 mL of CO2. These numbers indicate that after 80 mL of CO2 is produced, all of the methane will be consumed, while half the oxygen remains, at which point, the reaction stops. Thus, assuming the reaction goes to completion, 80 mL of CO2 will be produced.
