Tge resistance if the resistor is 4800 \Omega.

\Large{\underline{\underline{\mathfrak{Explanation :}}}}

Using Ohm's Law

\large{\underline{\boxed{\bf{V = IR}}}}

Where,

  • V = 12v
  • I = 2.5 mA = 2.5 \times 10^{-3} A.

\sf{\implies R = \dfrac{V}{I}} \\ \\ \sf{\implies R = \dfrac{12}{2.5 \times 10^{-3}}} \\ \\ \sf{\implies R = 4800}

\large{\underline{\boxed{\bf{R = 4,800 \: \Omega}}}}
