Answer :-

 R = 4800 \Omega

Given :-

V = 12 v

I = 2.5 × 10-³ A

To find :-

The resistance of the resistor.

Solution:-

Let the resistance of the resistor be R.

Resistance → The property of a substance to resist the flow of electric current through itself is called resistance.

By Ohm's law:-

 \huge \boxed{R = \dfrac{V}{I}}

Put the given value ,

 R = \dfrac{12}{2.5 \times 10^{-3}}

 R = \dfrac{12}{25 \times 10^{-4}}

 R = \dfrac{12 \times 10^4}{25}

 R = 0.48 \times 10^4

 R = 4800 \Omega

hence,

The resistance of the resistor is 4800 \Omega .
