We have potential difference (V) = 12V

Electric current (I)=2.5 mA= 2.4×10-3

According to Ohm’s Law (V) = IR

Or R = V/I

R=12v/2.4×10^-3

=12v×10^3/2.4

=120×10^3/24

=4.8×10^3
