  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

       Given data:- a=4,b=-3.

To find:- Value of given expression 16-a^{2} .

       Solution:-

  • We know that Subtraction means taking away some value from another value.
  • Subtraction is denoted by (-).
  • Properties of subtraction are as follows:-
  1. Subtracting a number from itself.
  2. Subtracting 0 from a number.
  3. Order property.
  4. Subtraction of 1.

Now put the value a=4 in the above equation.

       16-4^{2} \\\Rightarrow 16-16\\\Rightarrow 0.

Hence we will get the value 0.
