When a 40 Vm-1 electric field is produced inside a conductor then 2 x 104 Am-2 current density
is established in it. Resistivity of the conductor is

=> Resistivity of the conductor is:

Current density J = Electric field (E) / Resistivity (ρ)

ρ = E /J

= 40 / 2* 10⁴

= 20 * 10⁻⁴ Ωm

Resistivity of the conductor is 20 * 10⁻⁴ Ωm
