when a a ball is thrown vertically upwards it's velocity goes on decreasing. what happens to its potential energy as it's velocity becomes zero?

potential energy increases as height increases. hence when velocity becomes zero , it reaches it's maximum height and has highest potential energy ( potential energy= mass × g ×height)
