velocity of particle at t = 10s is 98 m/s

as it is given that ball is thrown from a building having acceleration due to gravity 9.8 m/s² then, the velocity is expressed as v = 9.8t ,

here it is clear that, v ∝ t [ velocity is linearly variable with time.]

at t = 0, v = 0 [ means particle start from rest ]

at t = 1s , v = 9.8 m/s

at t = 2s , v = 19.6 m/s

at t = 3s, v = 29.4 m/s

......... .......... .........

here we see, particle of velocity increases equally in equal time of interval.hence velocity-time graph is a straight line as shown in figure.

now velocity of particle at t = 10s, v = 9.8 × 10 = 98 m/s
