when a ball is thrown-up vertically with velocity v0, it reaches at a maximum height of 'h'. what should be velocity of a ball if one wishes to triple the maximum height.

h=u^2/2g

U is initial velocity

g is accelerationdue to gravity

h2/h1=u2^2/u1^2

u2=u1 root h2/h1

=v root 3h1/h1

= root 3v
