Answer:

s=19.6

a=-9.8 m/s^2(as acceleration is in downward direction)

v=0

by using v^2=u^2+2as

0^2=u^2-2×9.8×19.6

-(u)^2=-(19.6)(19.6)

therefore u=19.6 m/sec

initial velocity is 19.6m/sec

time=t

by using v=u+at

0=19.6-9.8t

-19.6÷(-9.8)=t

t=2sec
