when a body is moving with constant acceleration can we say that no external force is acting on it .Igf NO then why?

when a body is moving with constant acceleration we can say that no external force is acting on it because if any external force, which is greater than the force of the body, would be acting on it the acceleration would have decreased.If also any force is acting on it,it can negligible or the force is smaller than the force exerted by the body.

It means that the force acting on the body is constant or equal at any time if no force is acting on body how it is able to accelerate.......
