When a body is thrown vertically upward from the top of a tower it takes 9 second to reach the ground.When the same body is thrown vertically downward from the top of the tower it takes 4 sec to reach the ground.Height of the tower is what?

answer is 80m using second equation of motion S=ut+1/2at sq. s=0*4+1/2*10*16
we know that whenever any object is thrown upward then it's acceleration is -10m/s sq. and when it is thrown downward then it's acceleration is 10m/s sq.

ravisha190: when any object is thrown upward then gravity attract it and produce -10m/s sq acceleration
