Dear student,
Indeed, when a body jumps out of a moving bus there is a danger for him to fall. This is due to the inertia of the body.
Initially, the body was in inertia of motion along with the bus. Immediately, when one jumps out of the bus, the inertia doesn't change to rest immediately.
As a result, the body falls and brings danger to the self. This could be overcome if the body instead of jumping slowly lands on the surface and runs in the direction of a bus for a few seconds helping the self to overcome effective inertia of motion and coverting it into inertia of rest.
