When a bullet is fired from a gun it gives a kick in backward direction?

The answer is that the gun is specially designed weapon which is made resistant to travel in a particular direction at a great speed hence it's need a lot of pressure for that.When the spring in the gun is compressed at its maximum level then it is released maligantly as it needs pressure for its speed.So due to the pressure exerted it is pushed backward.
