When a candle is covered with glass it stops burning. Why?

because the oxygen required burning of candle gets cut off when we covered it with a glass and therefore because of absence of oxygen candle stops burning.

if a candle is covered with a glass then the candle will not reach its ignition temperature .because the candle needs the presence of oxygen to reach its ignition temperature.
