When a candle is shown near hydrogen gas a pop sound is heard why?

Hydrogen is a combustible gas. Whenhydrogen burns in oxygen it explodes. In the laboratory And the pop soundcomes from the small explosion comes from the burning of hydrogenwith oxygen. In the laboratory this small explosion extinguish the burning matchstick or a candle.
