Two cells are similar because we know that all cells arise from pre- existing cell but they are not identical because their genetic codes and composition of heredity information are different.....

Two cells are similar because of structural similarities but each of them arises from a pre existing cell which makes them genetically different from each other and not hence absolutely identical
