when a cell reproduce what happen to its dna

depends on if were talking about asexual reproduction or sexual or amitosis, in case of a bacterial cell which usually performs asexual, the dna gets doubled and is divided equally among the two daughter cells.

When a call reproduces, dna copies are made which are identical to the parents.
