When a cell reproduces, its DNA is copied and passed on to the offspring.DNA copying is the most important step in the process of reproduction as DNA is the replica of the body design of the offspring.

When a cell reproduce, its genetic material aka the DNA,which is present in the chromosomes, become condensed and shaped like an "X".These makes it furthermore easy to move the chromosomal parts towards the ends of the cells.
Dna also is replicated.
