The DNA is transferred to the progeny. That is It gets diploid, Haploid and again diploid.
It does not go under any sort of division, like cytokinesis or miyokinesis.

When a cell reproduce it has the copy of DNA from it's parents DNA.
This is the process of DNA replication by which DNA in parent cells during divisions makes copies of DNA through DNA transcription.
Then these copies of DNA pass on to newly produced cells.
