Explanation:

Since we know that Force(F) = mass(m) *acceleration(a) or( F= ma)

and it is given that when it is applied it produces 10 m/s^2 on 2kg body so thus this gives F= 20N.

Now, as the same force produces 4m/s^2 on a body of mass (m).

Thus putting F=20N and a= 4m/s^2 in F= ma gives m= 5kg.

Thus the required answer will be 5 kg
