When a coordination compound NiCl2.6H2O is mixed with AgNO3, 2 moles of AgCl are precipitated per mole of the compound . Write the structural formula of the complex its ans may be (Ni(H2O)4).Cl2.2H2O. yes or no and if no why

◆ Explanation-
- When the co-ordination compound is reacted with AgNO3 it liberates 2 moles of AgCl, which indicates 2 Cl- ions are outside the co-ordination sphere satisfying primary valence(+2).
- Remaining 6 H2O ligands will be inside the co-ordination sphere satisfying secondary valence (+6)
- Therefore, structural formula of the compound must be [Ni(H2O)6]Cl2.
