when a copper coin is dipped in silver nitrate solution,a glitter appeared on the coin after some time. Why does this happen ?​

Answer:

This is because, copper being more reactive than silver displaces silver from its salt solution to form copper nitrate and the silver from the solution gets deposited on the coin giving a glittery appearance to the coin.
