when a crystal of potassium permagnete is placed in a beaker ,its purple colour spreaded throughout the water . what does this observation tell us about the nature of potassium permagnete and water.

This experiment gives us the following ideas :

1. Pottasium Permanganate is made up of small particles.

2. Water particles have empty spaces between them, which get occupied by the particles of Pottasium Permanganate.
