When a current of 4.0 A passes through a certain resistor for 10 min 2.88×10 joule of heat are produce calculate
(a)the power of the resistor
(b)the voltage across the resister

I think heat = 2.88x10 power 4 joule.....

right.....


Work done = Heat = 2.88*104 J

Time = 10 min = 600 sec

Power = Work Done/ Time = 2.88*104 J / 600 sec = 48 W

I = 4A

P = IV 

V = P/I = 48 / 4 A = 12 V
