When a die is thrown, find the probability of the events of getting
(i) a prime number (ii) a number greater than 5.​

Then, no. greater than 5 are 6.

Let B be the event that greater than 5

B= 6

Then n(B) = 1

Hence the probability of no. grater than 5

= B ( outcomes) / total frequency.

= 1 / 6.

i) 1/3

ii) 1/ 6.
