Total number of outcomes in a die = 6

non prime  numbers from 1 => 6 = 1 , 4 , 6 (1 is also included as the question only says non prime number it didn't mention it as composite number so 1 is also included)

probability = possible outcomes

                    total number of outcomes

probability of getting a non - prime number = 1 , 4 , 6      = 3/6 = 1/2

                                                                              6

Answer : when a die is thrown, then outcomes for not getting a prime number are 1 ,4 and 6.

hope it helps !!
