Finding Square meters of garden -

Per meter = Rs 6 .

Rs 2400 = ? metres

= 2400 ÷ 6

= 400. meters.

Finding length and width of the garden -

Let the width is x

length = 3/2x = 3x/2

Taking Length = L

Taking width = W

Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2(L + W)

400 = 2(\dfrac{3x}{2} + x)

400 = 2(\dfrac{3x + 2x}{2})

400 = 2(\dfrac{5x}{2})

10x = 2 \times 400

10x = 800

x = \dfrac{800}{10}

x = 80

Hence :

Width = 80 m

Length = 3x/2 = 3(80)/2 = 120 m .

 \bold{Answer : Length \: = \: 80 \: m}
