When a force 2*10^7 dyne acts on a body of mass "m", the acceleration produced is "a" . If a force 100 N acts on an other body of mass m/4, find acceleration produced. Pls answer fast. ( Who ever write the correct solution and answer quickly will be marked as the brainliest answer.. hurry up) Hint- the answer is in terms of a

\huge \text{\mathbb {\underline {ANSWER}}}

Acceleration produced will be twice or 2a

\huge \text{\mathbb {\underline {EXPLANATION}}}

In the first case,

Force = F = 2*10⁷ dyne = 2*10² N = 200 N  (1 dyne = 10⁻⁵ N)

Mass = m

Acceleration = a

In the second case,

Force = F = 100 N

Mass = m/4

Acceleration = a'

We know that by Newton's Laws of motion,

Force = Mass × Acceleration

F = ma

Applying this in the first case we get,

F = ma

200 = m × a

m = 200 / a

Applying this in the second case we get,

F = ma

100 = m/4 * a'

400 = ma'

400 = (200 / a) * a'

a' = 400a / 200

a' = 2a

when, acceleration = a

mass = m

F = ma = 2*10^7 dyne = 200 N

  1. This implies, 1/2 ( ma ) = 100 N
  2. m/4 * acceleration = 100 N

Using Eq. 1. and 2.

we get, 1/2 ( ma ) = m/4 * acceleration

Multiplying both sides by 1/m,

acceleration = a/2 * 4

= 2a

Hence, the acceleration produced when the force is 100 N is 2a.
