1. In circular motion the centripetal force is always acting towards the cente of the circle, so its direction is always changing.

2. In 1-D motion, a constant force acts in the same direction causes it to move in a straight line.

3. In projectile motion, a constant force mg always acts downwards on the projectile which causes it to move in a parabolic path.

So both straight line and parabolic path are correct.
