When a lead storage battery is charged, then : (a) pbo2 dissolves (b) the lead electrode becomes coated with lead sulphate (c) sulphuric acid is regenerated (d) the amount of acid decreases?

a). PbO2 in which cathode is grid of the lead packed with this ( PbO2).
at the anode , is oxidised to Pb2+ ions and insoluble PbSO4 is formed.
At the cathode PbO2 is reduced to Pb2+ ions and formed PbSO4.
